What’s it all about?
Our aim is to improve bus transport, including links with other forms of transport.
On April 18th we shall discuss and prioritise issues that anyone wants to discuss e.g:
·         Does York need a bus station?
·         What about long-distance buses?
·         Do we need a free city-centre shuttle bus?
·         Where are needs highest?

We shall also discuss current issues (cuts etc.) in the context wherever possible of  long-term sustainable strategies that meet the needs of York citizens today and in the future.

Please come to this meeting and let us know what you want:
·         More buses?
·         Cheaper buses?
·         Earlier or later buses?
·         More frequent or more reliable buses?
·         Different sorts of buses?

Needs of seniors and other special groups and better integration with trains/taxis/cars/bikes etc.. must also be investigated.  This meeting is the first step!

Foundation Membership of YBF is £1 and is open to all, especially bus users and transport workers.
